Spicy Chick’n and Waffles

This is one of my lazy meals, eaten when I don’t have time to meal prep but still want to hit all my macros. It’s fast, cheap, and can be made with only a toaster and a microwave.

Ingredients

  • 2 tsps pure maple syrup
  • 2 buttermilk eggo waffles, or your favorite waffle
  • 6 morningstar buffalo Chick’n wings (if you don’t like spicy, use the Chik’n nuggets instead)
  • 1 oz sharp cheddar cheese or your favorite cheese.
  1. Microwave your 6 wings (I usually do 30 seconds, flip em, add 30 seconds more.
  2. Toast your eggos to desired crispiness.
  3. Grate the cheddar cheese and sprinkle half over the waffles.
  4. Cut the microwaved wings in half and lay them on the cheese, then sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  5. If the cheese hasn’t fully melted from the heat of the waffle and wings, I like to pop them back in the microwave for another 10-15 seconds.
  6. Drip 1 tsp of maple syrup over each waffle.
  7. Enjoy!
