Tater Tot Less Meat Casserole with Green Beans

A casserole that’s like a cheeseburger and fries in one!
The Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 tsp, Salt and Pepper
- 1/2 medium white onion
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 1 bag (340.00 grams), Frozen Green Beans
- 1 can 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom
- 1 cup 2% Reduced Fat Shredded Mild Cheddar
- (optional) Half a jar of Kosher Dill Pickles Slices
- 1 Can Organic Lentils 15 Oz, drained
- 3/4 lb, 93 Percent Ground Beef
- Half a 30 oz bag of ore ida tater tots
- Pan spray
- Preheat your oven to 375.
- Mince your onion and set aside.
- Spray a large pot with pan spray, then brown your ground beef, breaking apart as you go.
- When the meat is brown, add the onion and saute for an additional 5 minutes.
- Mince your garlic and add that as well, cook for another minute.
- Add your drained lentils to the pot and mix well.
- Add the worcestershire sauce and the salt & pepper to taste.
- Microwave your frozen green beans as per the bag’s instructions.
- Now it’s time to layer your casserole. Pour the meat mixture into the bottom of a 9X13 casserole dish. Layer your kosher dill pickle spears, if using. Top that with the cream of mushroom soup, followed by the cooked green beans.
- Sprinkle the reduced fat cheddar cheese over the green beans, then layer with your tater tots.
- Bake the casserole for 35-40 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown.
